12.4.5. Reset Inputs of the Module
The Reset Input is optionally used to connect a reset switch. The reset switch overrides the internal Reset
Controller.

If X200A-Pin43 is open, then the Autostart-Mode is enabled and the PWRBTN is not needed to start.
ATX-Mode:
If X200A-Pin43 is pulled high with 470 Ohms to 5V, the system waits after VCC5SB is available until
the PWRBTN# is activated by pulling to GND.
12.4.6. LPC Bus of the Module
The LPC Bus is used to connect a secondary SuperIO chip, for an optional firmware hub and for the POD80
port. We recommend connecting all LPC signals to, at minimum, a 10pin header. Please see the sample
schematics. DIGITAL-LOGIC provides an LPC-POD analyzer to display the POD codes from the BIOS. The
LPC-Bus is length sensitive (maximum 20cm).

12.4.7. Suspend Outputs of the Module
The suspend signals are power control signals for controlling the external power generators. See the sample
schematics to better understand this function.

The SUSC# is an open collector signal that is pulled to GND when level is ‘0’ (on the SM800PCX). When
level is ‘1’ or ON, this signal is Z-State (on the SM800PCX), the motherboard will define the level as 3.3V or
5V with a 1k pullup resistor (TTL) or 100k in the case of a FET-Gate.
ATTENTION!
Never apply voltages over 5V or the
PM-controller will be destroyed!
