5.6.9. EXPORT CONFIGURATION
The "Export Configuration" feature is used to deploy a large number of devices with the same configuration
on all of them. The configuration includes both users and settings and will be named "CDExportDB".
This screen is only visible to users with Administator or Security Officer roles.
1.
Insert a thumb drive formatted to FAT-32 into your computer.
2.
On the "Maintenance" > "Export Configuration" screen, choose the device or drive to store the configu-
ration file on from the Device Name drop-down box. It may take a few seconds for the list of available
devices to appear.
3.
Type in a passphrase that will be used to encrypt the configuration file into the Passphrase text box.
4.
Click the Export Configuration button.
5.
A dialog box will pop up. Enter your password and click Continue to confirm your credentials.
The "CDExportDB" configuration file has now been exported to the root of the thumb drive.
