Description
Signal strength
Received cellular signal strength indicator (RSSI) for GSM.. A measure of
the signal level of the network.
Different RSSI levels are used by GSM to determine the number of bars.

For GSM
: -108 or more is 1 bar, -93 is 2, -77 is 3 bars.
Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) for LTE. A measure of the
signal level of the network.

For LTE
: -118 or more is 1 bar, -106 is 2, -90 is 3 bars.
Signal level
The number of bars indicates the strength of the received cellular signal.

: No signal

: Poor signal

: Adequate signal

: Good signal
Signal quality
An indicator of the quality of the received cellular signal, measured in dB.
This value is also known as
Ec/Io
.
Registration status
The status of the cellular modem’s connection to a cellular network.

Cell ID
Identifier of the cellular base station with which the cellular modem is
registered.
Location area code
Identifier of the location of a group of cellular base stations with which
the cellular modem is registered, in hexadecimal format.
Mobile country code
Identifies a mobile phone operator/carrier with which the cellular
modem is registered.
Mobile network code
Identifies a mobile phone operator/carrier with which the cellular
modem is registered.
Operator name
The name of the mobile operator with which the modem is registered.
This corresponds to the mobile country and network codes.
