BRIEF DESCRIPTION
IZAR RDC VEHICLE is a standalone reading concentrator designed to be embedded on all types of
vehicle. It enables to have a “passive drive-by” reading solution in autonomous mode without any
driver intervention.
As soon as IZAR RDC VEHICLE is supplied with electrical energy, it reads and stores the data of
radio meters within range. Once reached a list of 1,000 meters or different frames, the concentrator
automatically sends data via the mobile network to a storage server (FTP / SFTP).
IZAR RDC VEHICLE then continues reading, memorizing and sending as long as it is powered.
An energy buffer manages short-term power cuts (<4min, micro-cut, "Start & Stop" function of
certain vehicles) and also allows the sending of the remaining data in the case of return of the
vehicle at the end even if the list of 1,000 meters is not reached.
The synchronisation of the date and time of the concentrator is performed at each start and before
sending any data in order to have the most accurate time stamped data possible.
