FLUIDS AND REAGENT
▪
Fill the reaction tubes/strips/plates keeping the safety distance from the instrument to prevent accidental spills of
liquids on the instrument.
▪
Do not use the instrument to process inflammable, explosive or reactive substances.
▪
It is responsibility of the user to apply appropriate safety measures if potentially pathogenic material, radioactive
substances or other hazardous substances are used.
▪
Do not immerse the instrument in any liquid.
DANGER OF BURNS
▪
Do not touch the thermoblock, the inner part of the lid or the reaction tubes/strips/plates while the instrument is
operating. These areas can quickly reach temperatures greater than 50°C. Keep the lid closed until the temperature
has fallen below 30°C.
▪
Do not use any material (tubes, foil, ...) that is not sufficiently stable at high temperatures (up to 120°C).
OPERATIONAL ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
▪
The fans placed on the hull of the instrument must always be free from obstructions and free to operate. Always
leave at least 10 cm of space around the instrument.
▪
Keep the environment at a temperature between 20 and 30 °C and between 20 and 80% relative humidity.
▪
Do not use the instrument in environments where aggressive or explosive volatile mixtures are present. Contact
Diatech Pharmacogenetics support if you need to use the instrument in non-conventional environment
