PTO SLIP CLUTCH / DRIVE SHAFT

Confirm the locking bolt

is
securing the slip clutch

to the
tractor’s PTO Drive

•
Grease the PTO drive shaft
(4)
every
50 hours or weekly. Remove the
safety guard
(5)
to access the PTO
drive shaft
(4)
.

Depress the locking pin
(8)
and pull
the PTO drive shaft
(4)
off of the
slip clutch
(1)
.
◦
Depress the locking pin
(8)
and pull
the PTO drive shaft
(4)
off of the
gear box
(9)
.
◦
Pull apart the PTO drive shaft
(4)
and grease all zerks with #2
lithium based grease. Push the
PTO drive shaft
(4)
back together.
◦
Depress the locking pin
(8)
and
push the PTO drive shaft
(4)
back
onto the gear box
(9)
until the
locking pin
(8)
locks.

NOTE:
Push until the locking pin
clicks into place on the groove
of the gear box splined shaft.

Depress the locking pin
(8)
and
push the PTO drive shaft
(4)
back
onto the slip clutch
(1)
until the
locking pin
(8)
locks.
