INSTALL DRAFT ENCLOSURE ON VIBRATION
ISOLATION TABLE
Set the draft enclosure on the granite vibration
isolation table so that the open side with hinges for
mounting the glass doors faces the front, and the
pass through openings are on the right side when
looking at the enclosure from the front. The bottom
of the enclosure is open so that the top of the
granite table is exposed.
Install the draft enclosure positioning brackets on the enclosure so that they hold the
granite table top under each ledge.
Remove the draft enclosure sidewall column by
removing the six screws that secure it. A 3 mm allen
wrench should be used to remove the screws.
Connect the external flow conveyance tube to the
bottom of the isolation valve mounted inside of the
sidewall column and run the remaining tube out
through the flow path pass-through opening in the
enclosure. It is important that this connection does
not leak.
Connect the clear ambient pressure tube to the
barbed fitting on the inside of the enclosure sidewall
column. Run the remaining tube out through the flow
path pass-through opening in the enclosure.
Locate the two TH probe assemblies, one PRT probe
assembly, and one IR probe. These are all
accessories of the LCM. Run the yellow cables for the
two TH probes and the orange cable for the PRT
probe through the utility pass-through opening so that
the probes remain on the inside of the enclosure.
Attach the white cable from the IR probe to the blue
box mounted inside the sidewall column. Run the gray cable from the blue box out through
the utility pass through opening in the enclosure.
One end of the AMH driver cable should be pre-mounted through a rubber grommet in the
enclosure sidewall column and attached to the inside of the column by a cable clamp.
Make sure the other end is run through the utility pass-through opening in the enclosure.
Locate the DC volts power cord of the GFS balance power adaptor. Run it through the
utility pass-through opening also so that it can connect to the balance inside the enclosure.
The power adaptor and AC power cord should remain on the outside of the enclosure.
Run one 9 pin D-sub cable through the utility pass-through opening of the draft enclosure.
The end of the cable with male pins should be inside the enclosure.
Replace the draft enclosure sidewall column onto the side of the draft enclosure
Locate the glass doors for the draft enclosure. Hang one door on the hinges and fasten
the two retainers into the hinge using two screws. Repeat for the other door. The
hinges may need to be adjusted to allow the glass doors to sit level and flush with each
other in the center. Adjust the doors to minimize the gap between the doors which
could allow air currents to enter the draft enclosure and affect the balance
measurements. When closed, the doors should be in contact with the rubber seal along
the entire edge of the draft enclosure.
