RUN DIAGNOSTIC TEST
The
[RUN] [RUN DIAGNOSTIC TEST]
selection in GFS Tools is used for obtaining real-time
balance or LCM output almost instantly by bypassing other equipment configuration and
operational steps not required in this mode. This mode is used most commonly for initial
balance/AMH setup, viewing all of the LCM ambient conditions outputs, viewing the real-time
output of the balance, and performing maintenance/calibration operations on the balance or
LCM. There are no additional setup steps to run a diagnostic test, simply select this option
and the mode will be active is seconds.

OVERVIEW
This section details the various calculations used by
GFS Tools
.
5.7.2
ERRORS
The DUT error expresses the difference between the DUT reading and the reference reading
at a particular point in a test.
Errors are calculated in four different ways: %Reading, %DUTFS, %Reading Set Point, and
%DUTFS Set point.
%Reading and %DUTFS errors express the difference between the DUT output and the
reference output or the DUT span. The %Reading Set Point and %DUTFS Set Point options
express the difference between the reference output and the set point or the DUT span.
%Reading errors are undefined near 0 (zero) reference outputs.
Set point errors are determined using the measured DUT set point whenever possible. If a
measured value is not available, the nominal value is used as the set point.
