” window will appear for the selected mass flow controller (see
Figure 102). Select the output voltage source for the mass flow controller, such as a
molbox or MFC-CB. Select “

The “
Initializing Test Instruments
” window will appear (see Figure 103). Select “
Finish
”
and GFS Tools will initialize all components needed for the test, including the balance,
LCM, and all components selected in the previous steps. Once initialization is complete
all options and points of the test definition will execute in pre-defined order with no further
user intervention required.
As part of the initialization process, the GFS checks the mass of gas in the Reference Gas
Cylinder against the Minimum Required Test Mass. If there is insufficient mass to complete the
test a message will warn of this condition and ask if the user wishes to continue anyway. Until
this condition is acknowledged by the user all further test execution is halted.
