FEATURE
DESCRIPTION
Mass averaging time (s)
(required numeric entry)
The time in seconds used to average the balance when performing a balance zero or
when running AutoZero.
Mass stability limit(g)
(required numeric entry)
Indicates the maximum allowable change in the balance during the stability test. The
balance stability test requires that the change in 5 consecutive balance measurements is
less than the value entered.
Rotation interval (s)
(required numeric entry)
The minimum time in seconds required for cam rotation to change states on the AMH.
Reference gas cylinder
stability time(s)
(required numeric entry)
The delay time imposed after the reference gas cylinder is loaded onto the balance after a
Balance Zero or AutoZero operation. When a flow rate is set, no stability criteria can be
applied to the reference cylinder state of the AMH as it is constantly changing mass. As a
result a fixed delay is used to wait for system stability.
Maximum change in
flow after AMH change
(%Rdg)
(required numeric entry)
Enter the %reading error that constitues the maximum acceptable change in perceived
GFS flow before and after an AutoZero. If the change in flow exceeds this limit the AMH is
cycled and the reference gas cylinder is lowered again. This protection is provided for the
occasions in which the AMH is out of alignment and a stable value cannot be read from
the balance.
Maximum change in
indicated mass after
AMH change(g)
(required numeric entry)
Enter the maximum acceptable change in mass before and after an AutoZero. If the
change in mass exceeds this limit the AMH is cycled and the reference gas cylinder is
lowered again. This limit is imposed when running an AutoZero while not flowing. This
protection is provided for the occasions in which the AMH is out of alignment and a stable
value cannot be read from the balance.
