INTENDED USE

The D28495-XE and the D28498-XE heavy-duty angle grinders have been designed

for professional grinding and cutting applications.

DO NOT

use grinding wheels other than center depressed wheels and flap-disk.

DO NOT

use under wet conditions or in presence of flammable liquids or gases.

These heavy-duty angle grinders are professional power tools.

DO NOT

let children come into contact with the tool. Supervision is required when

inexperienced operators use this tool.

Clutch

The torque limiting clutch reduces the maximum torque reaction transmitted to the

operator in case of jamming of a disc. This feature also prevents the gearing and

electric motor from stalling. The torque limiting clutch has been factory-set and

cannot be adjusted.

No-volt Release Switch

The on/off switch has a no-volt release function: should the power be shut off for

some reason, the switch has to be deliberately reactivated.

Overload Protection

The power supply to the motor will be shut off in case of motor overload. The power

will return to normal once the tool has cooled down to suitable operating temperature.

ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS

WARNING:

disconnect tool from power source before making any adjustments or removing/

installing attachments or accessories.
