Polling transmission

With polling transmission, a document is stored in the machine’s memory
and sent when requested by the recipient.

If the polling transmission function is specified, the document is stored in the
polling transmission box of the mailboxes and is sent when a polling request
is received from the recipient.

If a document for polling transmission is in a mailbox, "

" appears in

the main screen.

Detail

Polling transmission is compatible with F-code communication.

A maximum of 30 polling transmissions can be programmed.

If the memory is full, polling transmissions cannot be specified.

With polling transmission, the recipient incurs the cost of the call.

The following procedure describes how to specify a polling transmission
using the polling transmission box.

Position the document to be faxed.

If necessary, select the Quality setting.
