5.1
Version IP 54
The LOCON / TERM 24 is fitted in a cut-out 138

x 138

mm in accordance with DIN for front
panel installation. The earthing terminal on the rear side of the housing must be connected to the
equipotential bonding system in the control cubicle.
All cable connections have to be made
with the power supply disconnected!
The cable shields of the displacement measuring sys-
tem and the power supply and outputs must be connected to the earthing terminal. The unit must
be fitted with the four supplied mounting brackets.
The unit may be operated only with earthing conductor (equipotential
bonding) connected.

The LOCON / TERM 24 is fitted in a cut-out 138
+1
x 138

mm in accordance with DIN for front
panel installation. Holes must be drilled in accordance with the drilling template (see download
area on our homepage at http://www.deutschmann.de) for the bolts. The earthing terminal on the
rear side of the housing must be connected to the equipotential bonding system in the control
cubicle.
All cable connections must be made with the power supply disconnected!
The
cable shields of the displacement measuring system and the power supply and outputs must be
connected to the earthing terminals.

PM-version
The PM-version is to be installed on a mounting plate. A drilling template can be found at the
download area on our homepage at http://www.deutschmann.de. The earthing terminal on the
rear side of the housing must be connected to the equipotential bonding system in the control
cubicle.
All cable connections must be made with the power supply disconnected!
The
cable shields of the displacement measuring system and the power supply and outputs must be
connected to the earthing terminals.
The unit may not be fitted subject to mechanical stressing. This may lead
to damage to the electronic circuitry.
The unit may be operated only with earthing conductor (equipotential
bonding) connected.
