Connecting the
Docking Station
Insert the feet as shown in the openings (1) on the underside
and snap them into place. Plug the cable of the AC adapter
into the jack (2). Connect the other end of the AC adapter to
the 230 V AC mains outlet.
If you are operating a PC on the docking station, connect the
V.24 port (3) to a vacant COM interface of your PC (cable
supplied). A headset is connected to the jack (4).
Inserting the
Handset
When placing a handset in the charger of the docking station,
make sure the charger contacts engage firmly with the hand-
set. Once the handset is placed in the docking station, you
can use all functions.
Hands-free
Talking
Select hands-free talking with
<
. The
L
LED illuminates. Leave
the handset in the docking station to make a call. Press
h
.
The microphone and loudspeaker will then be activated. Now
you can dial your number.
Press
h
if you are being called. The loudspeaker and
microphone are activated. Adjust the volume of the earpiece
by pressing the
+
/
-
keys on the handset. Be sure not to
cover the microphone at the front edge of the docking station.
The
H
LED signals the call connection.
You can remove the handset from the docking station during a
call and continue the call without interruption.
