MenuCard “Messages”
1 Short messages
: A list of short
message senders is displayed. Select
an entry and press
.
You will
see the “Ref.” text of the message
(up to 60 characters long), the
sender and the date of the message.
Messages can be sent to system ter-
minals by means of the OpenCTI 50.
When a message is received, an ad-
ditional window displays the sender
for a period of four seconds.
2ƒE-mail
: You see the list of in-
coming e-mails (sender, date). Select
an entry. The “Ref.” text of the
e-mail then appears (this can be up
to 64 characters long).
The OpenCom 100 can be configured
to notify you when you receive an
e-mail. When an e-mail is received,
an additional window displays the
sender for a period of four seconds.
3 Appointments
: Select

. Enter the time in

. You can enter a message text
in
Repeat
(32 characters are possi-
ble). Determine how often you want
to the appointment call to be sig-
nalled (once-only or multiple signal-
ling) and activate the appointment
with
On
.
When an appointment call is sig-
nalled to your terminal, it rings for a
period of one minute with the ringer
volume steadily increasing. The ap-
pointment number appears on the
display.
4ƒMessenger
: The Messenger is
used to organise the communication
between you and selected
OpenCom 100 users (“Friends”). By
way of the Messenger, you can in-
form these users about your status,
i.e. whether you are available or not.
For instance, you can indicate that
you are currently not in the office or
are on holiday. The Messenger pro-
vides a number of specially prepared
message texts for this purpose.
Whenever one of your “friends” calls,
the OpenCom 100 will display these
texts on their system terminal or in
their OpenCom 100. Select an entry
and press
.
