Power Failure
Power Failure
In the event of a power failure, all
the contents in the memory (pro-
gram and user data) are saved with-
out change. The internal clock con-
tinues to run for 24 hours. If the
power failure lasts longer than
24 hours, the time and date are reset
to the factory setting when power is
switched on again. When the first
external outgoing call is made, the
time and date are set to the current
value as given by the exchange.
On the multi-terminal access, the
OpenCom 105, the OpenCom 110
and the OpenCom 120 include an
emergency service. In the event of a
power failure, the external S

is switched over to the internal S

port (in the OpenCom 105to the S

port) so that you can still use a con-
nected telephone to make a call.
Emergency operation on a system
access is not possible.

The OpenCom 100 ports offer a large
number of possibilities for connect-
ing devices. One of the many possi-
ble configurations is shown in the
following diagram:
