5. If DERMAFLASH facial exfoliator stops while in use, follow the detailed
instructions described in this owner’s manual, remove the exfoliating edge. Then
return the DERMAFLASH facial exfoliator to the charging stand. (See Figure 2.)
Universal Charging Stand For World Wide Use
The DERMAFLASH charging stand/cradle is compatible with both international and
domestic voltages (100-240 VAC; 50/60Hz). When traveling outside North America,
always make sure you use the correct country plug adapter. The DERMAFLASH
charging stand/cradle is configured with a cUL standard North American 2-blade flat
pin plug.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
Before Using for the First Time
1. Using the correct plug adapter for the country you are in, plug your
DERMAFLASH cord into an electrical outlet. DERMAFLASH comes pre-equipped
with a standard U.S. plug.
2. Place your DERMAFLASH in its charging stand overnight (for a minimum of 5
hours) to fully charge.
NOTE: A full charge allows up to 30 minutes use.
Loading A New Exfoliating Edge
WARNING! Exfoliating edges are good for a single-use only. NEVER attempt to load or
exfoliate with a previously used edge. Discard and recycle all exfoliating edges after
every use.
WARNING! Exfoliating edge is sharp! To avoid personal injury, NEVER attempt to load
the exfoliating edge onto the exfoliator nose/handle by hand!
1. Place the exfoliating edge tray on a clean, flat, stable surface. To load, slide
DERMAFLASH nose completely into any loaded slot in the exfoliating edge tray.
(See Figure 3.) An audible click can be heard as the exfoliating edge locks
securely into place.
2. Gently lift the handle upwards at a 45º angle to release the loaded head from
the exfoliating edge tray. (See Figure 4.)
WARNING! NEVER slide the DERMAFLASH handle BACKWARDS in the exfoliating
edge tray. Doing so may damage the exfoliating edge and make it unusable.
