8 Users
The AST40 can manage up to 10 users.
User 1 is the administrator. He can assign user names and passwords for an additional 9
users, configure the user type and can also activate or de-activate users (also see
).
The various rights of the individual user types are described in the following table:

The menus opened last in the list of the open modules are stored for every user and is
saved when he logs off. After logging in, the user immediately has access again to all the
menus requested by him.
A user can make modifications and do diagnostics if he is logged in.
If no user is logged in, then only the values and settings can be displayed; all the menus
which would have an effect on the screwdriving standby status of the sequence controller
are blocked.
The user administration settings are located in the system settings.
