Preparation Mode
Preparation Mode Operations
Preparation Mode (PREP) allows the user to regulate the motor speed, direction, and light source (on/off) of
the handpiece system.
The Midwest
®
E provides 4 default Memory Settings
for ratio and speed (for details see the default values’
table for ratio and speed in Table 1 below).
To individually change these settings simply "overwrite" them as described below. This allows one to compile
their own preferences to fit their option needs.

PREP Mode allows each user to change the following settings:

Direction of rotation (clockwise or counter-clockwise)
Light on / off
To Change PREP Mode Memory Settings:
1. Turn on the device.
2. Press PREP to access the Preparation Mode presets.
3. Press "P1", "P2", "P3," or "P4" icon to view and edit the settings
(when activated the background becomes highlighted).
