Sterilization Instructions
Prior to sterilization:
•
Clean and disinfect Contra-Angle per section 7.5.
•
Protect Contra-Angle by applying oil spray per section 7.3.
Contra-Angle handpieces may be sterilized only in the
steam sterilizer with saturated water vapor at 134 °C
(274 °F), 3 min.holding time (2.04 bar; 29.59 psi overpres-
sure).
Steam sterilizers may be used that fulfill the requirements of
EN 13060, class B or S and are suitable for the sterilization
of Contra-Angle handpieces.
ATTENTION!
Do not exceed 140° C (284° F) even dur-
ing the drying phase!
