Step by Step Instructions

Uncombined mode

The following step-by-step instructions refer to the uncombined use (without 

X-Smart IQ

®

 

Handpiece).

Ensure that a rubber dam/dental dam is securely placed before you start endodontic 
treatment.

Avoid touching the device with contaminated gloves to prevent contamination near the 
connector or underneath the clamp.

Apical foramen (Major apical foramen or diameter) passed / 
over-instrumentation.

Alarm condition:

LED: Flashing red.
Sound: Fast pulsating tones.

Potential harm to the patient can be caused when this region is 
reached.
