When poor driving posture is detected for about
three seconds or more while driving, the driver
is alerted via voice notification.
Drowsiness Check (Status Detection)
When the driving is judged to have an increased degree of drowsiness
during driving, a check (drowsiness check (status detection)) is con-
ducted through voice notification before sounding an alarm.
If the driver does not conduct the cancel operation in response to the
drowsiness check (status detection), the driver is judged to have a high
degree of drowsiness, and is alerted through a voice notification.
Drowsiness Check (Random)
Even if the degree of drowsiness is judged to be low, when this status
continues for a extended period of time, a check (drowsiness check
(random)) is conducted through voice notification.
If the driver does not conduct the cancel operation in response to the
drowsiness check (random), the driver is judged to have a high de-
gree of drowsiness and is alerted through a voice notification.
Cancel Operation
After the drowsiness check, the alarm can be stopped with a hand
gesture, where the driver's hand is held in front of the camera so
that the driver's face is no longer visible to the camera.
When the hand gesture is recognized, the driver is alerted through a
notification sound.
