8.1. Stay on "Please wait…."
You can't watch "No Disc" on FL Display.

Check supply voltage and control signal for FE PWB
Check the wire is conneced to
CN242(SMPS PWB) and back connector of FE (FE PWB)
Check supply voltages from SMPS PWB
• +5V_BD(F/E), +12V_BD(F/E)
Check supply control signal to DCDC
• +12V_CTRL
After you push on "ON/STANDBY", can you listen sounds
which the PickUp is moving from FE.
Check the SATA cable is conneced to
FE PWB and BE PWB.
Check supply voltage and control signal for BE PWB
Check the wire is conneced to
CN243(SMPS PWB) and J10(BE PWB)
Check supply voltages from SMPS PWB
• +5V_BD(B/E), +12V_BD(B/E)
Check supply control signal to DCDC
• +12V_CTRL
The FE PWB is defective.
Check supply control signal from Main PWB
• 7601_ON, 7601_RDY
When you use another FE., Can you watch "No Disc"?
When you use another BE., Can you watch "No Disc"?
Connect it to both connecter properly.
Check soldering and wires from SMPS PWB
• [CN242] +5v : 2Pin, +12v : 4Pin
• [J10(BE PWB)] +12v_CTRL : 1Pin
After force to open the tray and push on "ON/STANDBY",
Does the try close?
(How to force to open the tray , refer to "Disassembly".
Connect it to both connecter properly.

Check soldering and FFC from Main PWB
