MEASURING METHOD AND WAVEFORMS

1. TEST POINT

Connect the GND (-) probe of the oscilloscope to the specified reference voltage points to check the

waveforms.

NOTE

Measuring Disc : CD/TCD-784

(It is recommended to use extension wires between the probe and test points.)

• When watching the HF waveform, use the extending wire as short as possible.

• If the HF waveform is unclear due to noise or the eye pattern is indistinguishable, replace the traverse

ASSY after measuring the lop.

• For points

take measurements at the points shown in the diagram below.

3. Measurement of Board Test Points

When measuring the board test points the measurements can be performed easily by turning over the

MAIN board with the back panel attached with screws, as shown in the figure below.

Disassembling Procedure (See "DISASSEMBLY" for details on the disassembly

procedure)

1. Remove all of the screws from the MAIN PCB, SMPS PCB, CD Mecha, CD Foot, NET PCB, USB PCB and

chassis (CD Mecha, and CD Foot are for the RCDN10 only).

2. Remove the SMPS PCB, CD Mecha and CD Foot (CD Mecha and CD Foot are for the RCD-N10 only).

3. Remove the molded parts from the back panel.

4. Raise the MAIN board, then slide the entire back panel to the rear to remove everything from the back

panel .
