“Digital” can be set for the input source assigned to “OPTICAL 1” or
“OPTICAL 2” under “Input Assign” in the menu.

If the input source is set to “Blu-ray”, “GAME”, “AUX” or “TV AUDIO”,
it cannot be set to “Analog”.

If an input source is “TUNER” or “PORTABLE” the setting is fixed to
“Analog”.

When digital signals are properly input, the
indicator lights on
the display. If the
indicator does not light, check the digital input
connector assignment and the connections.
