Owner‘s Manual
The following instructions are intended to help you as
the owner to use the machine safely in your laborato
-
ry.
Instruct the user with this manual on the
area of operation, the possible dangers
during operation and the operation of the
machine.
This instruction manual must be accessible to the
operator at all times.
A. Area of application
A.1 Designated use
The
Demco
E96 high-speed grinder is a compact
precision grinding machine for use in dental laborato
-
ries. It is used for grinding or cutting dental casts and
materials.
A.2 Environmental conditions
(in accordance with DIN EN
61010-1)
The machine may be operated only:
• inside,
• up to an altitude of 2000 m above sea level,
• at an ambient temperature of 5 - 40ºC [41 - 104ºF]
*),
• at a maximum relative humidity of 80% at 31ºC
[87.8ºF], with a linear decrease to 50% relative
humidity at 40ºC [104ºF] *),
• by mains power if the voltage deviations are no
greater than 10% of the nominal value,
• at pollution degree 2,
• at overvoltage category II,
*) The machine can be used at a relative humidity up to
80% between 5 and 30ºC [41 - 86ºF]. At temperatures of
31 - 40ºC [87,8 - 104ºF] the relative humidity must decrease
proportionately to ensure proper operation (e.g. at 35ºC [95ºF]
= 65% relative humidity, at 40ºC [104ºF] = 50% relative
humidity). The machine must not be operated at temperatures
above 40ºC [104ºF].
