Aqua Signal Water Alarm

W1201, W1301 & W2301

Product Overview

The Aqua Signal family is a simple detection unit to 

give an early alarm if something is leaking water. The 

unit is easily placed nearby or under the equipment 

attached to water. Depending on model of your choice 

you might connect the unit by relay to other alarms or 

equipment.

• Relay with  Normally Open or Normally Closed

Product Features W2301:

• Ex12VDC Operation

• Bright and clear alarm signal

• Relay with  Normally Open or Normally Closed

1. Remove the cover carefully.

2. Connect a 9V battery
ALT. B (Only applies to model: W2301)

2. Connect 12V power supply, ensure correct polarity.
3. Close the cover. NB position mark.

Activating the unit

Testing the alarm

Place the Aqua Signal device on a wet towel or similar, 

ensure that all 3 points touch simultaneously, the alarm 

shall sound. If the alarm is equipped with a Relay, there 

is a built-in delay of 2 sec before the relay goes off.

Low Battery Warning

Applies only to the W1201 & W1301 version.

Replace the battery when continuous short beeps 

occurs, preferable with a 9 volt alkaline battery.

Example of Locations

Place the alarm where a water leakage or flood is likely 

to occur, such as in bathrooms, basement, kitchen, ga-

rage, near water pipes etc. when water simultaneously 

reaches the 3 contact pins at the bottom of the unit, 

the alarm with be activated.
To enhance the sensitivity you may place the device 

up on a Wettex ™ dish cloth that will secure that the 

water wont pass the pins without trigging an alarm.

In versions W1201 & W1301 it may be possible to con-

nect an additional external water sensor, no polarity 

needed. (marked A in following picture)
In version W2301 it is possible to connect to an external 

system by help of a built in relay. (marked B in following 

picture)

fects in material, workmanship, or design under normal 

use and service for a period of 2 years. This guarantee is 

not assignable. Our liability to you, under this guarantee 

is limited to repairing or replacing any part which we 

find to be defective in material, workmanship or design, 

free of charge to the customer, upon sending (postage 

paid) or supplying the alarm with proof of purchase. The 

terms of this guarantee will not apply if the alarm has 

been modified, dismantled, contaminated, damaged 

neglected or otherwise abused, or if this instruction 

manual have not been followed.
The liability of

 arising from the 

sale of this alarm or under the terms of this guarantee 

shall not in any case exceed the cost of replacement of 

the alarm.
In no case, shall 

Deltronic Security AB

 be liable for 

consequential loss or damage resulting from the 

failure of the alarm, or the breach of this or any other 

guarantee, expressed or implied or for damage caused 

by failure to abide by the instructions supplied. The 

guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
