The MDT module interfaces to 5V differential (RS-422) signals.
Single-ended (TTL) signals are strongly discouraged. See the
RMCTools help for single-ended wiring diagrams.

The user must supply power to the transducer.

Do NOT connect the transducer ground or common to the shield,
case, or protective earth ground.
