WARNING

► Always observe the local regulations relating
to grounding cable requirements.
► To increase the safety of the system, always
ground the inverter housing even when this
is not required by the local regulations.
► Always ground the inverter housing
before
connecting the inverter to the mains and
solar modules.
► The grounding cable cross-section must be
at least 6 mm
2
.
The inverter housing can be earthed at 2 points:
● outside, on the right foot
● inside, on the PE screw of the AC connec-
tion
Grounding via the external grounding screws
1. Bolt the grounding cable onto the right foot of the inverter.
Nuts, spring washers and washers are already mounted
on the inverter.
Available grounding screws:
1 x M10, torque: 25 Nm
2 x M6, torque: 7 Nm
2. Perform a continuity check of the grounding connection

Electric shock
In IT grids, a twofold insulation fault can lead to
high error voltages on the inverter housing.
► Ground the housing of the inverter via the
grounding connection.
► Set up a permanent insulation monitoring
system.
► The first time an insulation fault occurs,
this insulation fault must be rectified
immediately
