Here is an example of a “peak-to-peak” characteristic value:

 

Active

Activating this channel transmits the selected vibration/wave characteristic value 
as measurement data following each triggering.

Measurement range/Scaling/Unit

The “Characteristic value" channel is derived from one of the analogue input chan-
nels and therefore inherits its scaling. The effective scaling is grayed-out here. 
Exceptions are those characteristic values that deliver frequency or phase meas-
urements. Scaling is then preset to Hz or ° (degrees).
