The above graphic represents the generation of measurement data in relation to
common triggers. The transmission of the measurement data is time delayed.
The timing of the entire cycle depends primarily on the user configuration. The
main factors here are as follows:
l
Recording time
Determined by the quotient of the “number of samples” and the “sampling
frequency.” Example: 1024 / 2560 Hz = 400 ms.
l
Analysis time
Determined by the number of active analogue channels and the computation
time required for digital filtering, FFT analysis, characteristic value com-
putation and monitoring. Example: approx. 10 ms/channel for a 1024-point
FFT.
l
Measurement data transmission time
Determined by the number of selected 'active' channels “analogue input” and
“FFT/spectrum”. The transmission rate of approximately 10000 meas-
urement values/s or 100ms for 1024 measurement values.
9.2.1.2
Continuous recording
The the I/O module runs continuously in this operating mode. Recording, eval-
uation and measurement data transmission take place by DSP continuously and
simultaneously.
The maximum sampling frequency depends on the volume of measurement data
that is to be simultaneously transmitted. The sampling frequency is typically 1kHz
parallel for 8 analogue channels with simultaneous transmission of time signals
and some characteristic values.
