About this task

Steps

1 

In the reverse sequential order (6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1), loosen the six captive screws (M2x3) that secure the heat sink to the system board.

2 

Carefully lift the heat sink and place it away from the system.

Installing the heat sink

Prerequisite

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
