IPv6 Configuration
To set IPv6 configuration:

IP Configuration
, select
IPV6
, and enable or disable the protocol.

Specify the
IP Address Source

Specify user-configured settings for alternate Ethernet IP Address.

Click
Next
to save your settings and proceed.
To specify user-configured controls, click
Ethernet IP Address
settings, and
enter appropriate values for the following:

Ethernet IP Address
— Maximum value of
FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF.

The multi-cast (ff00:/8) and loopback (::1/128) values are not valid
addresses for the Ethernet IP address and/or the other address related
fields described in this section.

IPv6 Address forms supported:

X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X
— In this form,
X
represents the hexadecimal
values of the eight 16-bit pieces of the address. You can omit
leading zeros in individual fields, but you must include at least
one numeral in every field.
