used
to
duplicate
volume
data
to
support
a
Disaster
Recovery
Plan
or
to
provide
rapid
local
access
to
a
remote
data
volume.
Typically,
data
is
replicated
remotely
to
safeguard
against
local
or
even
regional
data
threats
as
part
of
an
overall
Disaster
Recovery
Plan.
