Usage Information
Dell Networking OS issues accounting records for all users on the system, including users whose username string,
due to protocol translation, is NULL. For example, a user who comes on line with the
aaa authentication
login
method-list
none
command is applied. To prevent the accounting records from being generated for
sessions that do not have user names associated to them, use the
aaa accounting suppress
command.

Apply an accounting method list to terminal lines.
Syntax
accounting {exec | commands {level | role
role-name
}
method-list
Parameters
exec
Enter the keyword
exec
to apply an EXEC level accounting method list.
commands {
level
|
role
role-name
}
Enter the keywords
commands level
to apply an EXEC and CONFIGURATION level
accounting method list or enter the keyword
role
and then the role name for accounting
of commands executed by a user with that user role.
method-list
Enter a method list that you defined using the
aaa accounting exec
or
aaa
accounting
commands.
