ip rip send version
To send a specific version of RIP, set the interface. The version you set on the interface overrides the version command in ROUTER RIP
mode.
Syntax
ip rip send version [1] [2]
To return to the default value, use the
no ip rip send version
command.
Parameters

(OPTIONAL) Enter the number
1
for RIP version 1. The default is RIP version 1.
2
(OPTIONAL) Enter the number
2
for RIP version 2.

Usage Information
To enable the interface to send both version of RIP packets, use the
ip rip send version 1 2
command.
