User Authentication and Accounting
ColorTrack
Account administration is performed using the user information and account information
registered on the machine. Also, accounting information is counted using various
counters automatically created for each user. Accounting reports are created in CSV
format using
Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool
.

For information on driver settings, refer to the help of the driver.
•
When setting the user information or account information for another machine, we recommend
that you use the
Cloning
feature of
Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool
.
Network Accounting
Network Accounting
performs account administration using user information managed
by a remote service.
In
Network Accounting
, the remote server collects job data stored on the machine and
counts up the numbers of pages processed for each user.
NOTE:
•
User information managed by the remote service is sent to be registered on the machine. When the
user information on the remote service is updated, the updated information must be sent from the
remote service to the machine.
