Removing the system cover

Prerequisites

Ensure that you read the

Safety instructions

Follow the procedure listed in

Before working inside your system

Steps
1.

On the top of the system, locate the latch release lock and rotate the lock to the unlocked position.

Lift the latch and slide the cover back. The system cover slides back and the tabs on the system cover

disengages from the slots on the chassis.

Hold the cover on both sides and lift the cover away from the system.
