System Messages
Table 1-18 lists the system messages that can occur and the probable cause
and corrective action for each message.
CAUTION:
Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You
should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your
product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and
support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered
by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the
product.
NOTE:
If you receive a system message that is not listed in Table 1-18, check the
documentation for the application that is running when the message appears, or the
operating system's documentation for an explanation of the message and
recommended action.

NOTE:
Ethernet media speed is configured through the blade LOM firmware or by the
operating system. Speed and duplex settings are not configured through the pass-
through module itself.
