NOTE: Certain subtests are only available if an optional power-supply paralleling board
{PSPB) is installed in the system.

ESM Firmware Status
Tests to make sure the ESM software was downloaded correctly and that the
system is operational.

ESM Interface Test
Tests the interface between the host system and the ESM system to ensure that
all bits in the data port function correctly.

ESM System Board Sensor Check
Lists the system alerts that have been recorded by the ESM system board sen-
sors. The test reports which sensor caused the alert, the failure value, and the
acceptable range the value exceeded.

ESM Backplane Sensor Check
Lists the system alerts that have been recorded by the ESM backplane sensors.
The test reports which sensor caused the alert, the failure value, and the accept-
able range the value exceeded.

ESM PSPB Sensor Test
Lists the system alerts that have been recorded by the ESM sensors on the
optional PSPB. The test reports which sensor caused the alert, the failure value,
and the acceptable range the value exceeded.

ESM Intrusion State Test
Reports whether the intrusion state sensor is functioning properly.

ESM Front Panel LED Check
Verifies the operation of the front-panel light-emitting diodes (LEDs) by turning all
the LEDs on and off.

Modifies the revolutions per minute (rpm) of the system fans to verify the accu-
