Location Editor
When you click
New
or
Open
,
an editor appears. The
Name
field is mandatory.
Name
—A unique name for
the Location. If you alter
the name of an existing
location already in use by
existing equipment, the
editor creates a new
location. To change a
location name, you must
delete the original
location and the
equipment using it then
re-make it. You can
change the name of an
unused location without
deleting anything.
Parent
—The “parent” of this location (the location to which this location is subordinate). Select a
Parent Location from the pick list. The maximum number of levels supported is 15.
Details
—A text description of the location.
Type
—Type of location, as selected from the drop-down menu. Available types are: Area Hub,
Customer, National Hub, Other, Provider, Regional Hub, and State.
Postal Address
—The
Street, City/State, Zip
address of the location.
Additional
—Any optional notes.
Click
Save
to save the Location, or any modifications you have made.
