hold-time
Specify a delay (in seconds) before a switch becomes the MASTER virtual router. By delaying the
initialization of the VRRP MASTER, the new switch can stabilize its routing tables.

Syntax
hold-time { seconds | centisecs centisecs }
To return to the default value, use the
no hold-time
command.
Parameters
seconds Enter the number of seconds. The range is from 0 to 65535.
The default is

Usage
Information If a switch is a MASTER and you change the hold timer, disable and re-enable VRRP
