vlan protocol group name
This is a new command for assigning a group name to
vlan protocol group id
.
Syntax
vlan protocol group name
group-id groupName
no vlan protocol group name
group-id
• groupid—The protocol-based VLAN group ID, which is automatically
generated when you create a protocol-based VLAN group with the
vlan
protocol group
command. To see the group ID associated with the name
of a protocol group, use the
show port protocol all
command
• groupName—The group name you want to add. The group name can be
up to 16 characters length. It can be any valid alpha numeric characters.

Example
console(config)# vlan protocol group name 1 usergroup
vlan protocol group remove
Use the
vlan protocol group remove
command in Global Configuration
mode to remove the protocol-based VLAN group identified by groupid.
