dhcp l2relay remote-id
Use the
dhcp l2relay remote-id
command to enable setting the DHCP
Option 82 Remote ID for a VLAN. When enabled, the supplied string is used
for the Remote ID in DHCP Option 82. Use the
no
form of this command to
disable setting the DHCP Option 82 Remote ID.
Syntax
dhcp l2relay remote-id

The string to be used as the remote ID in the Option 82 (Range: 1 -
128 characters).

vlan-list
—A list of VLAN IDs. List separate, non-consecutive VLAN IDs
separated by commas (without spaces). Use a hyphen to designate a range
of IDs. (Range: 1–4093)
Default Configuration
Setting the DHCP Option 82 Remote ID is disabled by default.
