The following example, after defining the authentication key for SNTP, grants
authentication.

Use the
sntp authentication-key
command in Global Configuration mode to
define an authentication key for Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP). To
remove the authentication key for SNTP, use the
no
form of this command.
Syntax
sntp authentication-key
key-number

no sntp authentication-key
number
• key-number—number (Range: 1–4294967295)
• value—value (Range: 1-8 characters)
Default value
No authentication is defined.
