Layer 3 Routing Commands
1412
User Guidelines
When used in a route map applied to UPDATE messages received from a
neighbor, the command sets the next hop address for matching IPv6 routes
received from the neighbor. When used in a route map applied to UPDATE
messages sent to a neighbor, the command sets the next hop address for
matching IPv6 routes sent to the neighbor. If the address is a link local
address, the address is assumed to be on the interface where the UPDATE is
sent or received. If the command specifies a global IPv6 address, the address is
not required to be on a local subnet.
