In sequential order (indicated on the heat sink), loosen the captive screws that secure the processor heat-sink to the system board.

Remove the screw (M3X4) that secures the processor heat-sink fan to the middle frame.

Lift the processor heat-sink off the system board.

Installing processor heatsink

Align the captive screws on the processor heat-sink with the screw holes on the system board.

2 

In sequential order (indicated on the processor heat-sink), tighten the captive screws that secure the processor heat-sink to the 
system board.

3 

Replace the screw (M3X4) that secures the processor heat-sink fan to the middle frame.
