Remove the liquid cooling heat sink with liquid leak sensor cover
Steps
1. If you are using an existing heat sink, remove the thermal grease from the liquid cooling heat sink with liquid leak sensor
using a clean lint-free cloth.
2. Use the thermal grease syringe included with your processor kit to apply the grease in a thin spiral on the top of the
processor.
CAUTION:
Applying too much thermal grease can result in excess grease coming in contact with and
contaminating the processor socket.
NOTE:
The thermal grease syringe is intended for one-time use only. Dispose the syringe after you use it.

3. Align the screws on the liquid cooling heat sink with liquid leak sensor using the standoff screws on the system board.
4. Using a Torx #T20 screwdriver, tighten the captive screws in the order that is mentioned below:
a. Partially tighten the captive screws 1 and 2 (approximately three turns).
b. Partially tighten the captive screws 3 and 4 (approximately three turns).
c. Tighten the captive screws 1 and 2 completely.
d. Tighten the captive screws 3 and 4 completely.
