cards with the highest priority should be installed first using the slot priority indicated. All the other expansion cards should be
installed in the card priority and slot priority order.

Removing an expansion card riser
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in
on page 23.
2. Follow the procedure listed in
Before working inside your system
3. If applicable, disconnect any cables connected to the expansion card.
Steps
Hold the touch points, and lift the expansion card riser, from the riser connector, on the system board.
NOTE:

While removing riser 1, press the tabs and hold the touch point to lift the expansion card riser from the system board.
