System top cover
Do not remove the system top cover unless you are converting the system from tower to rack mode.
Removing the system top cover
Prerequisites

your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that are shipped with your product.
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
2. Keep the Phillips #2 screwdriver ready.
3. Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and
peripherals.
4. Remove the system cover.
Steps
1. Remove the screws that secure the top cover to the chassis.
2. Slide the cover toward the back of the system and lift it from the system.
